A heating and/or air-conditioning plant for a car has manual controls in the cabin for the air distribution, cabin temperature and fan speed, with indicators for the various modes and a control unit using sensors measuring outside/inside temperatures, car speed, etc. There are several LED indicators (11) for each control (2 to 6) and they are all activated by the control unit. Each indicator corresponds to one setting of its control and can be on or off. One pressbutton switch (10) indicates the optimal defrost setting for the individual controls (2-6).
