Hard moulded body with open pores

A moulded body is made of hard material which has open pores and acts as a light metal matrix. The size of the hard particles near the surface of the body are max 0.1 mm and the distance between the particles is max 2 mm. The pores are filled with a metal which provides a sliding surface property. To increase the body strength, the hard particles are held together with an organic and/or inorganic binder before being hardened in a mould and then fired at 700-1100 deg C.
