Thermal insulation facade for solar energy collection in building construction

The building panel has an outer transparent section (1) which directs the solar heat to an absorbing layer (4) backed by a pipe system (5) filled with a thermal transfer medium e.g. water. The heated fluid is stored in a reservoir (7) from where a control system (10) operates a pump (9) to recycle the heat e.g. at night. The transparent collector has a honeycomb of heat conductors behind the transparent cover.The pipe system can be divided into two circuits with one circuit on the inside wall of the panel for effective heating inside the building. The main panel is a building block of brick, block or concrete. The panels can be linked for improved effect.
