Vehicle body part

摘要

The vehicle body part, esp. a door or bonnet and the like, has a deep drawn outer section (1), together with connecting holders (4,5,18), for a cast inner part (3) to be mounted to it. The inner part can be an injection moulded plastics, or a pressure die cast light metal and pref. aluminium or magnesium. Also claimed is a mfg. process where the outer section (1) is deep drawn and trimmed. The inner section (3) is cast and bonded to the outer section (1) in a single casting stage and at the same time. The outer section (1) is prepd. before the shaping of the inner section, so that the inner section is held to the outer.
