Computer controlled on-line quality testing equipment for gaskets

A quality testing system for gaskets consists of a feeder (10) for the gaskets to be tested (1), a sensor (BO) and an on-line dedicated computer with appropriate software (90) on the screen of which each gasket is shown and analysed according to a predetermined algorithm. The complete system is mounted in a support (11) comprising a feed-unit (20) by which the washers are gravity-fed along a rail (21) to a doser (23) and a position-controller (30) for the testing-station (31) at the focal point of the sensor.A separation and ejection device (70) receives all the tested washers and here those with defects are automatically divided from those without. The entire system is controlled from the computer.
