PURPOSE: To obtain a foamed article of a crosslinked olefin resin having excellent fabrication quality and suitable for a foamed olefin resin having high heat- resistance, high breaking strength of foam, excellent fabrication quality and high recovery of compression strain. CONSTITUTION: This olefin resin composition is composed of (A) a polyethylene resin and (B) a polypropylene resin, a crosslinking assistant and a thermal decomposition-type foaming gent. The polyethylene resin A is an ethylene-α- olefin copolymer having an MI of 0.5-5.0g/10min and containing 5.0-20.0wt.% of a fraction dissolving in o-dichlorobenzene at >=94 deg.C determined by cross- fractionation method and having a weight-average molecular weight of 1.5×10<5> to 10.0×10<5> and the polypropylene resin B is a propylene-α-olefin copolymer having an MI of 0.2-10.0g/10min and containing 50-95wt.% of a fraction dissolving in o-dichlorobenzene at >=94 deg.C determined by cross-fractionation method and having a weight-average molecular weight of 2.0×10<5> to 10.0×10<5> . |
