PURPOSE: To obtain excellent sound shielding properties by so scattering a metal powder on the upper surface of a thermoplastic resin sheet as to become a specific surface density value or more, scattering the pellet of a foamable thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermally decomposable foaming agent, and then heating at the decomposition temperature or higher of the agent while controlling the thickness, thereby enhancing the content of the powder. CONSTITUTION: A metal powder is scattered in a laminar state on a thermoplastic resin sheet 10 so that the surface density becomes 1μg/m<2> or more by a metal powder scattering unit 2, and then the pellet of a foamable thermoplastic resin composition is scattered in a predetermined surface density on the powder 5 by a foamable thermoplastic resin composition pellet scattering unit 3. It is heated to the decomposition temperature or higher of a thermally decomposing type foaming agent in a heating furnace 12, the foamable thermoplastic resin product is heated to be foamed in the state that held between upper and lower endless belts 1 and the thickness is controlled, a thermoplastic resin foam 15 containing the metal powder is laminated to be integrated by foaming pressure on the softened thermoplastic resin sheet 10, and then passed through upper and lower cooling plates 14 to obtain foamed material. |
