PURPOSE: To issue a swing alarm so as to prevent an accident from occurring in the case of receiving forced excitation out of mischief of a passenger by providing a swing alarm generating means for generating a swing alarm, when acceleration of an elevator car exceeds a swing alarm acceleration, which is a reference value set beforehand. CONSTITUTION: Speed relation of acceleration α found in a speed/acceleration change means 10A is compared with a swing alarm acceleration and a safety protection acceleration, which are the first reference value A1 and the second reference value A2 respective set beforehand by a reference data set means 10, so as to be judged by an acceleration comparison judgment means 10C in a microcomputer 10. As a result, when the acceleration α found in the speed/ acceleration change means 10A is judged to be larger than the swing alarm acceleration, a buzzer ring command 13 is given to an excessive load detection buzzer device 7 by a swing alarm process means 10D. Passenger's caution and alarm are thus drawn by ringing of the buzzer. |
