PURPOSE: To provide a voltex flow type dust separator enabling to remove dust by efficiently taking out ejecting energy from an opening part of a casing. CONSTITUTION: The voltex flow type dust separator 1 is provided with a nearly inverse conical easing 2 having a first outlet 3 at the tip, a raw material feed path 4 which is connected with the casing 2 at a far side to the tip of the casing 2 tangentially and feeding a raw material conveyed by a pneumatic pump into the casing 2 via an opening part 2a of the casing 2, an opening degree adjusting means 7 for adjusting an opening degree of the opening part 2a of the casing 2 and an outlet path 5 having a second outlet connected with the center of a side face of the easing 2 at a far side to the tip of the casing 2.
