PURPOSE: To provide a granulated wettable powder excellent in disintegrating and dispersing behaviors in water. CONSTITUTION: This agrochemical wettable powder comprises an agrochemical active ingredient and glassy powder of less than 100μm, particularly 10-30μm average particle size, prepared by crushing a natural glassy foam. The glassy foam powder originates from natural glassy substances such as obsidian, pearlite or pitchstone or volcanic ash, preferably from perlite and volcanic ash. These naturally occurring glassy substances are foamed with heat and the fired perlite or sirasu balloons are preferably used. The amount of the glassy powder is more than 2wt.%, preferably 5-80wt.%. When the preparation is desired to have a high hardness, a binder is admixed and the use of a saccharide as a binder advantageously increases the hardness of the preparation particles without adverse effect on their disintegration behavior in water.
