PURPOSE: To produce a rubber roller in high yield. CONSTITUTION: In a mold disassembling apparatus 1 for extracting the end part mold 4b fixed to the end part of a rubber roller 3 when the rubber roller 3 is produced by forming a rubber layer to the outer periphery of a core metal 2, the rubber roller 3 is inserted in a protective pipe 13 and one end part having an end part mold 4b fixed thereto is placed on a fixed support member 6 to be arranged so as to bring the end part mold 4b into contact with the support member 6. The end part mold 4b is held between a press means 7 and the fixed support member 6 and, thereafter, a movable support member 11 having the core metal 2 of the other end part of the rubber roller fixed thereto is moved so as to be kept away from the fixed support member 16 by an extraction cylinder 15. The end part mold 4b can be simply extracted from the rubber roller 3. By this constitution, no excessive load is applied to the rubber roller 3 and, since strain such as wrinkles is not generated in a rubber surface, yield can be enhanced. |
