PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive image apparatus good in productivity and capable of accurately forming a latent image of high quality on a photosensitive member by irradiating the surface of the photosensitive member with the light emitted from a light emitting diode element through a lens or capable of accurately forming an image on a solid-state imaging element array on the basis of external image data and capable of generating the accurate electric signal corresponding to the external image data in the solid-state imaging element array. CONSTITUTION: In an image apparatus wherein a lens member consisting of a plurality of lenses and a base plate 1 having a large number of image element arrays 2 arranged and mounted thereon linearly so that the respective lenses and the respective image element arrays are fixed so as to correspond each other in a ratio of 1:1, each of the image element arrays 2 has a plurality of electrodes and a plurality of light receiving and emitting regions 2c covered with light pervious members 5 composed of a thermoplastic resin on the surface thereof and the respective electrodes 2b are connected to the electrode wirings 1a deposited on the surface of the base plate 1 by flip chip connection. |
