PURPOSE: To provide an image forming method preventing bleeding at the time of the formation of a color image on plain paper and obtaining a highly detailed recording image good in color reproducibility. CONSTITUTION: In an image forming method, a colorless liquid compsn. containing at least a silicone compd. and a cationic compd. is applied to a recording medium and, thereafter, recording ink containing a dye having at least an anionic group is bonded to the coating layer by an ink jet system. |
