PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition for coating a steel material, which can form a coating film being excellent in abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, surface appearance, moldability, heat resistance and particularly high- temperature scratch resistance and markedly improved in low-temperature impact strength. CONSTITUTION: This resin position comprises 25-60wt.% ethylene/α-olefin copolymer (A) having a density of 0.918-0.927g/cm<3> and a melt flow rate of 0.5-1.2g/10min, 0-65wt.% ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer (B) having a vinyl acetate content of 1.5-5.5wt.% and 0-65wt.% high-pressure process polyethylene (C) (the total of components A to C is 100wt.%) and has a melt flow rate of 0.3-1.0g/10min and a vinyl acetate content of 0.5-2.5wt.%. |
