PURPOSE: To generate negative pressure by the head of a position in such a state that an ink container capable of being directly filled with ink and having the leading end parts of an ink supply pipe and an atmosphere communication pipe inserted therein through sealing elastomers in a piercing state is mounted on a recording apparatus and to enable the selection of a recording posture. CONSTITUTION: An ink container 20 used in such m state that the end parts of an ink supply pipe and an atmosphere communication pipe 10 are inserted in a housing 1A through sealing elastomers 22 is provided and the head generating negative pressure in supplied ink between the ink container 20 and a recording head 6 is provided. |
