<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the protrusion of a rod when the brightness of an optical printing head is measured and to simplify measurement by arranging the rod to the frame body supporting a photosensitive drum and arranging the leading end of a support coming into contact with the rod at a position lower than a lens array. CONSTITUTION: A long substrate 3 is arranged on a radiator 1 and a plurality of light emitting diodes 4 having a plurality of light emitting regions formed on the surfaces thereof are longitudinally arranged on the substrate 3. A cover 6 is arranged on the substrate and the lens array 9 positioned above the light emitting diodes 4 is fixed to the cover 6. Further, the supports 11 arranged on the cover 6 are arranged around the lens array 9. The head parts 12 of the supports 11 are set at a position lower than the leading end of the lens array 9 and flatly formed so as to come into contact with downwardly extending rods 24 arranged in connection with the photosensitive drum 18 above the lens array. The shaft parts 13 connected to the head parts 12 of the supports 11 are fitted in the respective holes 14, 15 provided to the cover 6 and the substrate 3.</p> |
