发明名称 PRODUCTION OF SUPERFINE PARTICLE OF CHITOSAN HAVING ION EXCHANGE CAPACITY
摘要 PURPOSE: To easily produce superfine chitosan particles each of which is excellent in insolubility and has an anion exchange capacity by crosslinking a compound having at least two reactive groups to at least two quaternary ammonium salt type nitrogen atoms within each of the constituent chitosan molecules of the particles. CONSTITUTION: This production of insoluble superfine chitosan particles each having an anion exchange capacity comprises: dissolving a low molecular weight chitosan into an acidic aq. solution; solidifying the resulting chitosan solution in a basic solution to regenerate the chitosan; allowing a compound having at least two reactive groups to react with at least two quaternary ammonium salt type nitrogen atoms within each of constituent molecules of the resulting porous solidified material, which molecule is represented by the formula (in the formula: R is an ethyl or methyl group; X is a halogen atom; and (n) is an integer of 2 to 10); washing the reaction product; pulverizing the washed product; dispersing the pulverized product into a liquid to obtain a liquid dispersion; and discharging the liquid dispersion into a high temp. atmosphere together with compressed air to dry the dispersed particles. Each of the objective superfine chitosan particles thus produced has a <=20μm particle size in diameter.
