PURPOSE: To obtain the subject drink capable of suppressing the bitterness of caffeine without adding a large amount of sweeteners and having pleasantly drinkable taste by adding menthol to a drink containing a large amount of caffeine. CONSTITUTION: For producing a drink having sweetness suitable as a drink and Brix of 0.3-15, caffeine is added in an amount of 25-175mg% together with menthol of 1-5mg%. A caffeine-reinforced drink produced by this recipe has taste similar to an ordinary sugared drink. |
