PURPOSE: To obtain a photopolymerizable composition having enough pot-life under an environmental light, capable of rapid polymerization-curing under light irradiation with a light irradiator, curing to a greater curing depth, preventing discoloration and satisfying enough performance necessary for a dental restoration composite material, excellent in mechanical properties such as tensile strength, etc., also useful for dental products and various composite materials for forming precision parts. CONSTITUTION: This photopolymerizable composition comprises (A) a reducing agent, a mixture of a 4-dimethylaminobenzoic acid ester (such as methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl or lsoamyl 4-dimethylaminobenzoates) with an aliphatic tertiary amine (such as dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate, dimethylaminopropyl methacrylate or dimethylaminobutyl methacrylate, etc.), (B) anα-diketone (such as camphorquinone or benzil) as a photosensitizer and (C) a polymerizable monomer (such as bis-phenol A diglycidyl methacrylate or triethylene glycol dimethacrylate).
