PURPOSE: To eliminate the time and labor for preparing a receiving unit beforehand by determining whether a normal reception is made or not with a receiving unit which has failed in reception when the frequency of the receiving unit which failed in reception has been changed to that of the normally operating receiving unit, and if normal reception is made, a display of 'transmitter fails' is displayed, or otherwise, 'receiver fails' is displayed. CONSTITUTION: In a processing operation, it is determined with a CPU10 whether normal reception is made or not with each receiving unit through each channel as assigned originally. If normal reception is not made, it is determined whether other normally operating receiving unit exists which receives a signal from a transmitter. If any normally operating receiving unit exists, a local oscillation frequency of a local oscillator is changed to alter the frequency in the receiving channel of the receiving unit which fails to receive so that it conducts reception through the channel corresponding to the normally operating receiving unit. Then, it is determined whether the unit is operated normally or not. If the reception is operated normally, 'transmitter fails' is displayed on a display panel 13. If the reception is not operated normally, 'receiver fails' is displayed on the display panel 13. |
