PURPOSE: To inexpensively produce a cushion material different in hardness with regions. CONSTITUTION: A female mold 51 is filled with a large number of small cushion pieces 6 to which a reactive adhesive is preliminarily bonded. An upper cushion element 3 having hardness almost same to that of the small cushion pieces 6 is placed on the small cushion pieces 6. Side part cushion elements 4 having hardness higher than that of the small cushion pieces 6 are arranged to the lower side parts on both sides of the female mold 51 so as to be embedded in the small cushion pieces. The small cushion pieces 6, the upper cushion element 3 and the side part cushion elements 4 are compressed under pressure by a male mold 52. Next, heated steam is introduced into the female mold 51 to react the reactive adhesive to solidify the same. By this constitution, the small cushion pieces 6 are mutually fixed and the upper cushion element 3, the side part cushion elements 4 and the small cushion pieces 6 are fixed. |
