PURPOSE: To increase the printable area by fixing the entire surface of a color thermal recording material, and to uniformly fix the entire surface of the material. CONSTITUTION: Light sources 27, 28 and 37, 38 of the same wavelengths are arranged on the upstream and downstream sides of the printing direction of a thermal head 14. The entire surface of a color thermal recording material can be fixed. Pulse counting means for counting driving pulses of a motor 36 of the stepping motor of a drive power source, control means for energizing of deenergizing the sources according to the counts of the counting means and the set number of the count and input means for altering the set count are provided to uniformly fix the entire surface. |
