摘要 PURPOSE: To provide an air separation device capable of reducing required power consumption utilizing a heat recovered by the evaporative cooling of a liquid O2 in jointly installed liquid O2 facilities, and at the same time, making it possible to prevent the efficacy of an adsorbent from deteriorating due to moisture. CONSTITUTION: The air pressurized by a feedstock air blower 2 is fed alternately to adsorption towers 4A, 4B so that a N2 gas is adsorbed selectively and an O2 gas is concentrated. Thus the O2 gas and the N2 gas are separated passing through a tower-top switching valve 8A or 8B. in addition, an inlet cooler 1 is provided in the upstream of the feed-stock air blower 2 to cool a feedstook air flowing through the blower 2. The inlet cooler 1 is cooled by a brine refrigerated by a brine cooler 12, and the brine cooler 12 is refrigerated by the evaporative cooling of a liquid O2 from a separate liquid O2 tank 13.
