PURPOSE: To mold a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin having high strength by minimizing the damage of the fiber even if the pelletlike long fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin is molten and melting the resin while opening the fiber bundle in the pellet while holding the fiber length. CONSTITUTION: A long fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin injection molding machine comprises a plasticizing unit for melting and plasticizing the pellet 3 of a long-fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin by pressing the pellet 3 to the surface of a planar heater 4 which moves toward an outlet side, an extruder 12 for extruding the molten resin from the outlet of the unit, an injection cylinder 16 for introducing the resin from the extruder 12, and an injection unit 15 having a plunger 19 for injecting the resin in the cylinder 16. |
