PURPOSE: To classify only plastics from a shredded solid waste after classification wherein papers and plastics with very close specific gravities are mixed. CONSTITUTION: The outer peripheral member 2 of a rotating drum 1 displacing from a horizontal face part A with a surface being straightly above on a rotating path to inclined faces B1 and B2 each with an inclined angle, heaters 3 for heating this outer peripheral member 2, a refuse-feeding conveyer apparatus 4 arranged above the rotating drum 1, a tray 5 for papers arranged below the inclined face part B1 with a small inclined angle of the outer peripheral member 2 and a tray for plastics arranged below the inclined face part B2 with a large inclined angle of the outer peripheral member 2, are provided. The frictional resistance for sliding down is made thereby larger by making the plastics adhere on the heated outer peripheral member to separate the papers and the plastics based on the difference in the frictional resistance. |
