The stone cutting tool has a hydraulic motor (1) driving a biconical cutting disc through a gear-box (2). The double bevel on the disc is diamond surfaced allowing a 15 deg. inclined position for a straight T-cut in the slab (L) on both bevel walls. The tool is mounted on a circular base-plate with the blade (7) through an opening (11). The plate (8) is fitted with ball roller bearings (9) permitting free movement over the stone slab, and is manoeuvred with a handle (12).
