Universal clip for attaching insulation material to cavity walls

A universal clip can be mounted on a cavity wall tie for affixing insulating material against the inner face of the cavity wall. The clip has a central opening, strengthened to exert a parallel spring force on the circumference of the tie, and an entry slot. A thick plate extends from the strengthened centre to hold the insulation in position. On or close to the centre of the clip, a finger projects outwards and on which moisture may condense and be removed, rather than via the insulation.
