The one fraction (25) contains mostly corn cores with smaller proportion of bristle, chaff, husks and straw residues. Such constituents after processing in a unit are broken down into much smaller pieces. - The other fraction (26) consists of mostly chopped straw residues and other waste material with a smaller proportion of corn cores. The unit can be applied to a harvester and processes a mass (16) directly in connection with harvesting. It can also be set up completely free-standing away from the harvester, with the mass processed after harvesting. |
