PURPOSE: To improve the avaliability and operation efficiency of the processor by automatically performing backup registration and displaying an initial screen. CONSTITUTION: This processor is equipped with a display means 101 which displays various screens such as the initial screen, an input means 102 which indicates document data and various processes, a document data processing means 103 which processes and stores the document data, a document backup means 104 which has plural backup registration areas and performs the backup registration of the document data, an elapsed time measuring means 105 which measures the elapsed time of an input signal, a comparing means 106 which compares the measured elapsed time with a specific time, a forcible registration control means 107 which inputs document data being processed by the document data processing means 103 and forcibly registers them in a backup registration area unless the input signal exceeds the specific time, and a display control means 108 which controls the display means so as to erase a screen where the document is being prepared displays the initial screen when the document data are forcibly registered in the backup registration area by the forcible registration control means 107. |
