INCOMBUSTIBLE INSULATING COMPOSITION AND ITS MOLD AND APPLYING MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To provide an incombustible insulating composition which is excellent in insulating performance in humidity by forming constitution composed of silica sol, a polymer of trialkoxy or tetraalkoxy silicon and organic resin not more than a specific wt.% to the total quantity. CONSTITUTION: Silica sol is manufactured by performing hydrolysis and condition on alkoxide in silicon. A polymer of trialkoxy or tetraalkoxy silicon is manufactured by heating and agitating a trialkoxy silicon or tetraalkoxy silicon compound in a solvent by adding organic acid or inorganic acid as a condensation catalyst. The compound and the catalyst are mixed in the silica sol together with a solvent, and a mixed dispesing liquid of the silica sol and the polymer of trialkoxy or tetraalkoxy silicon can be manufactured. Here, a blending quantity of organic resin is set not more than 15 wt% to the total quantity of a composition. A precursor such as resol type phenol resin reacts with the silica sol or the polymer of trialkoxy or tetraalkoxy silicon, and a strongly tenacious insulating material is obtained.
