PURPOSE: To seal a gap formed at a joint between pipes due to a temperature change. CONSTITUTION: A metallic foil 5 formed out of metal such as a heat resistant nickel alloy like Hastelloy or nickel is doubly wound around the joint of piping 1 and a connection pipe 2. Also, a ceramic ring 6 radially expansible elastically is externally coupled to the groove la of the piping 1 and the pipe 2, thereby clamping and securing the foil 5. |
