PURPOSE: To receive user's voice and to surely transmit a converted optical signal to the outside whichever part the user grasps by arranging plural light emitting means at intervals of dimensions larger than the width of the user's fist. CONSTITUTION: A wireless microphone device 1 is provided with a microphone and light emitting means 5 and 6. A conversion means is provided in a device main body 2. Light emitting means 5 and 6 receive the signal from the conversion means to send the optical signals out of the device. The light emitting means 5 is arranged in the upper end part of the outer peripheral face of the device main body 2 and is provided with annularly arranged light emitting elements. The light emitting means 6 is arranged in the lower end part of the outer peripheral face of the main body 2 and is provided with two light emitting elements arranged back to back. Light emitting elements 5 and 6 are arranged at the interval of dimensions sufficiently large than the width of the fist of his hand with which the grasps the device main body 2 to hold it.
