<p>PURPOSE: To measure tensions impressed at a plurality of different positions in the widthwise direction of a band-shaped body, by generating an air film between the running band-shaped body and an arc face of a sensor bar and guiding the air pressure generated by the air film from minute holes to a pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of minute holes 14 are formed in the longitudinal direction of an outer arc face 12 of a semicylindrical rod-like sensor bar 11. A pressure sensor 15 is connected to a connection port 13 inside the sensor bar 11 corresponding to the minute hole 14. A pressure catch chamber 16 is formed between the minute hole 14 and a sensing part of the sensor 15. A tape base 4 such as a plastic film or the like is brought in touch with the arc face 12 with predetermined angles and transferred at a relatively high speed. As a result, an air film is generated between the arc face 12 and the base 4. The air pressure generated by the air film is guided to the pressure catch chamber 16 via the minute holes 14, and detected by the sensor 15. The tension impressed at a plurality of different positions in the widthwise direction of the running band-shaped base 4 can be thus measured.</p> |
