<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an image with high gloss or an image of high transparency on a transparent sheet in an image forming device such as a facsimile, printer and copying machine, and moreover, to improve the release property of a recording sheet, to decrease the time for warming up and to obtain a longer service life of a heating roller without making a fixing device complicated. CONSTITUTION: This electrostatic developing toner contains a binder resin and color particles. The binder resin has such properties that the ratio (Mw/Mn) of weight average mol.wt. (Mw) to number average mol.wt. (Mn) of the binder resin is between >=5 and <=50, the glass transition temp. is between >=50 deg.C and <=80 deg.C, and the softening point T1/2 is between >=80 deg.C and <=160 deg.C. By specifying the ratio Mw/Mn to >=5, the self-stripping property is improved, and by specifying the ratio to <=50, the picture quality is improved.</p> |
