<p>PURPOSE: To improve the operability of an input pen by moving a pen cord connector depending on an input coordinate position by the input pen onto a coordinate input board so as to adjust the length of a pen cord depending on the distance between the pen cord connector and the input coordinate position. CONSTITUTION: The user uses an input pen 2 to give an input command to a coordinate input board 1. An arithmetic control section 5 operates the coordinate of a commanded point based on pen input information through a pen cord 3 from the input pen 2 and on the information from the coordinate input board 1. The arithmetic control section 5 sends a control signal to a cord server 4 based on the detected or calculated information. The cord server 4 moves itself and adjusts the length of the pen cord based on the control signal from the arithmetic control section 5. Thus, the pen cord 3 always receives the signal at a position shortest from the input pen 2 and the length of the pen cord 3 is kept shortest.</p> |
