PURPOSE: To provide a field analyzing method which can shorten the analysis time which required a long period of time in the conventional method. CONSTITUTION: Boundary element method calculation over the entire region is performed (201). Then the potentialϕat on the boundary of a sub region and the derivative (q) is its normal-direction are calculated from values of the whole region (202). Thus, the region is divided into sub regions and the boundary provided for the division is calculated. To calculate the electric field at a specific position, the sub region that the position belongs to is selected (204). The selection can easily be done from the coordinate values of the point to be found. When an electric field is found, not the values of the whole region, but the value of the sub region is used (205). Namely, when the point to be found is in the sub region, the electric field is found only through the integration along the boundary of the sub region. The region of integration required for the electric field calculation is reduced to almost 1/4 of that of the conventional example, so the calculation time of the electric field calculation is reduced to a 1/4.
