The racquet has a hollow frame (2) in which mercury (5) circulates. The flow of mercury is regulated by a notched ring (3) in the handle which has two holes (4) through it that have different diameters. The mercury is stored in the handle (8). The mercury is placed into the handle through a hole (6) which is closed by a screw (7). In a golf club the mercury is only in the handle. The racquet can have two separate circuits with one permanently filled with mercury and two expansion joints.
