PURPOSE: To produce a color filter good in white balance by using a color protective layer in a producing method for color filter consisting of a forming stage of red(R), green(G) and blue(B) picture elements on a transparent substrate and the forming stage of a protective layer on the R, G and B picture elements. CONSTITUTION: In the producing method for color filter consisting of the forming stage for the R, G and B picture elements on the transparent substrate such as transparent plastic or glass substrate and the forming stage for a protective layer on the R, G and B picture elements, the protective layer is colored. That is, a colored pattern of the first color is formed by laminating the red photosensitive resin layer on the glass substrate 2 having previously formed black matrix of a Cr thin film by using a red dry film in which a colored photosensitive resin soln. consisting of a prescribed composition is made into film, and the second color and the third color are formed by using blue and green dry film in the same method. In this case, a protective layer colored in yellow is formed on these R, G and B picture elements. |
