PURPOSE: To provide a very reliable battery charging circuit by lessening the number of cables and contacts between a charger and a set. CONSTITUTION: A battery charging circuit for supplying charging current to a chargeable battery built in a portable equipment from a charger has a parasitic diode 13-1 built-in power MOSFET 13 which is installed between a changeable battery 12 of a portable equipment (set 1) and a load and is so structured that during charging, it can supply, to the portable equipment, charging current which is to be supplied to the battery 12 and load current which is to be supplied to the load, through only one cable L1. The charging current is supplied to the battery 12 through the parasitic diode 13-l of the power MOSFET 13 and at the time of discharging, the load current is supplied to the load from the battery 12 through the power MOSFET 13. |
