<p>PURPOSE: To easily produce a color filter excellent in reproducibility of green and spectral transmission characteristic. CONSTITUTION: In the production method for a color filter having a blue, green and red pixel pattern prepared by subjecting a silver halide photosensitive material having a photosensitive silver halide on a supporting body to pattern exposure, and then to a color developing treatment and a desilvering treatment in the presence of a developer and a coupler, the green pixel pattern is composed of a yellow component having a peak wavelength of absorption at 400-450nm and having an absorbance of less than 0.35 at 500nm wavelength when the absorbance at the peak wavelength is 1 and a cyan component having the peak wavelength of absorption at 630-700nm and having the absorbance of less than 0.35 at 570nm wavelength when the absorbance at the peak wavelength is 1.</p> |
