METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MAGNETIZING METAL MAGNET

PURPOSE: To enable a magnetic flux to rise up sharply in density in a neutral zone and to prevent a reverse pole from being generated by a method wherein a magnetic flux generated in the vicinity of magnetic coils and from a center conductor is drawn near to a metal magnet work by a magnetic flux drawing means, and a gap between the center conductor and the opposed surfaces of two pillar-shaped parts is stopped up with the magnetic flux drawing means. CONSTITUTION: A center conductor 4 in parallel with the adjacent rectilinear parts 12 and 13 of a first magnetizing coil 2 and a second magnetizing coil 3 is arranged at the center of the open ends of two pillar-shaped parts 11. When a metal magnet material A is magnetized, a current is made to flow through the center conductor 4 in the same direction as that of currents flowing through the adjacent rectilinear parts 12 and 13 of the magnetizing coils 2 and 3. A gap 100 between the center conductor 4 and the opposed surfaces of the pillar-shaped parts 11 is stopped up with a drawing means 5. The drawing means 5 effectively draws near a magnetic flux (magnetic flux generated at rectilinear parts 12 and 13) generated by the magnetizing coils 2 and 3 and another magnetic flux generated from the center conductor 4.
