PURPOSE: To realize a color output device low in running cost and high in image quality. CONSTITUTION: By constituting the surface roughness of an image carrier 12, an intermediate transfer belt 19 and an image receiving paper 37 so as to be successively higher, the occasion being in contact with toner is increased, and mechanical power acting among toners is weakened to obtain an excellent color image without partial omission. In the case a toner image is retransferred from the belt 19 to the image receiving paper 37, the partial omission is avoided, high efficiency transfer is realized and an excellent color image is obtained by constituting so that the center of a nip constituted by the belt 19 and a transfer roller 28 may not exist on a plane including the center shaft of the transfer roller 28 and the center shaft of a roller for backing up the roller 28. |
