The connector comprises an articulated pivot (1), which may be embedded and sealed directly into a dental opening (2), either in a natural root canal (3) or in the axial opening (4) of an implant (5). The upper end of the pivot includes a spherical head (6) which cooperates with a capping plate (7).The plate has an cylindrical-conical axial opening (8) in its lower surface, through which the pivot passes such that it is retained by the spherical head bearing against the upper face of the opening. The upper surface of the plate has an upwardly-open cylindrical cut-out (9) into which the lower end of a dental prosthesis may be anchored by one of a number of fastening procedures. |
