One or more tunnels (S1) with a longitudinal axis is constructed. It is limited by two end supports (2a, 2b) on which an arch is placed (3), the whole construction is covered with infill (13). The supports(2a, 2b) are made of a foundation pile (2) which extends along the entire length of the tunnel, parallel to its axis and is made of aligned vertical sections (20) which are buried in the ground to a level which is sufficient to support the load from the arch, the infill (13) and any likely loads.The upper section extends above the ground to a predetermined height so that the sections (20) form part of a pier which is topped by a capping beam (4) fixed to the ends of the sections. A prefabricated, longitudinal beam (40) rests on the sections. There is a space between it and the head of the piles where reinforcements are buried in concrete after the beam (40) is positioned.
