The rod consists of a base section (1) with an attached handle (2), which is designed to support the fixing bracket for the reel (5). An intermediate section (3) is fitted to the base section, with the top piece (4), extending from the end of the intermediate section, opposite to the base section. The base and intermediate sections are fitted with internal line guides (8) and the top piece is fitted with external line guides (9).The base section is also provided with a line entry (6), arranged above the reel mounting and the intermediate section is provided with a line exit device (3A), which is arranged just below the junction with the top piece. The line exit device consists of a radial hole (7), produced in the wall of the intermediate section of the rod, with a protruding tubular guide section (10).
