PURPOSE: To make possible communication with a lot of slave stations by changing the wavelength of slave stations under transmitting. CONSTITUTION: Slave stations 12a to 12c receive an optical signal from a master station 11 at an optical receiver B1 demodulate an information signal with a demodulator B2 and on the other hand, the information signal addressed to the master station is modulated by a modulator B3, converted into the optical signal of a set wavelength by an optical transmitter B4 and transmitted through an optical bus 13b to the master station 11. The optical transmitter B4 can vary a transmission wavelength. A processor B5 at each slave station controls the transmission wavelength to the designated wavelength at the time of demodulating a wavelength designate signal. The master station 11 is provided with an optical receiver A3 for simultaneously receiving the optical signals from the slave stations and demodulates slave station information signals while using a demodulator A4 and on the other hand, the information signal addressed to the slave stations are modulated by a modulator A1, converted into optical signals by an optical transmitter A2 and transmitted through an optical bus 13a to the slave stations 12a to 12c. The processor A5 of the master station 11 is equipped with the wavelength variable range information of the respective slave stations, reallocates the wavelength of the respective slave stations corresponding to a transmission request based on this information and transmits the wavelength designate signal to the respective slave stations. |
