PURPOSE: To provide the method and device for document processing which can generate and edit a frame where an image plotted with plural objects can be inserted. CONSTITUTION: The multilayered frame consisting of plural layers is formed and data generated with different objects are stored corresponding to the respective layers. Then images based upon the data is plotted in the corresponding layers of the multilayered frame and the images of the respective layers are put together and displayed. For the editing of the multilayered frame, objects which can be inserted into the multilayered frame or edited are listed and displayed. When an operator selects a desired object, it is judged whether or not the selected object is inserted into the multilayered frame and when the object is inserted, editing process is started for the object, but when not, the insertion of the object is started. |
