PURPOSE: To provide an image display device of such a structure that no deformation is generated in metal terminals even though a force is applied from peripheries, they do not contact with one another, no molded components such as stationary tables, frames, etc., are used, and that a printed wiring board of a drive circuit can be mounted on an image display element without use of screws. CONSTITUTION: A connector 8 is provided on the reception side in connection with metal terminals 2 from between a front vessel 1a and rear vessel 1b of an image display element 1, and the flange part of the front vessel 1a and the rear vessel 1b of an image display element 1 are pinched by a holding part 8a at the front of the connector and another holding part 8b at the rear. A plurality of ribs 8c are furnished on the connector 8 on the reception side so that the terminals 2 do not contact with one another and that no direct access is available from the outside. The connector 8 on the reception side is attached to a metal plate 9. |
