PURPOSE: To provide a parking system using a card from which a point corresponding to parking time can be observed visually by subtracting the point corresponding to the parking time measured by a measuring means from the point of the card and canceling the block by a blocking mechanism when the point shows to value >=0. CONSTITUTION: When the card C is inserted from an insertion port 5, magnetic data recorded on the card C via a magnetic head is read, and a CPU subtracts the point of a display 4 from the point of the card C by performing arithmetic processing by using the data and that of the point relating to the parking time. When the point of the card C exceeds that of the display 4, i.e., a parking fee can be paid only by the card C, a lock plate 1 is descended, and the vehicle is permitted to leave, and also, a new point is written on the display window of the card C via the magnetic head, and also, the data of the point is written on a magnetic data recording part via the magnetic head, and after that, the card C is returned from the insertion port 5. |
