PURPOSE: To improve operability by providing an operation lid which can be opened and closed toward yourself at the lower portion of the front side of a clock body case and providing a switch for setting alarm on the inner surface. CONSTITUTION: A recessed part 2a is provided at the lower portion of the front surface of a clock case 2 and an operation lid 7 of the same shape is embedded into the recessed part 2a. The operation lid 7 can be opened and closed by supporting the lower edge at the side of the case 2. A correction/ setting switch 8 for correcting time and setting alarm is provided on an upper surface which becomes an inner surface when closing the operation lid 7. Therefore, when the operation lid 7 is opened to correct time and set alarm, the switch 8 provided on a nearly horizontal upper surface of the opened operation lid 7 is located at the lower portion of the front surface of a clock 1 for easily operating the switch 8. Also, since the operation lid 7 is closed after the correction/setting operation is completed, an erroneous operation such as a careless contact can be prevented. |
